Our mission is to be a global women's health information provider and forum. We are dedicated to connecting women - from the villages to the skyscrapers - by providing personal stories, professional health content, and empowerment.

Our goal is to provide women with information that equips them to be informed, educated and be their own best advocate.


Maimah Karmo is a 33-year old mother, daughter, sister, niece, cousin, friend and author. She is also a breast cancer survivor.

On February 28, 2006, at 4:45 p.m., she was diagnosed with Stage 2 breast cancer. She had no family history of breast cancer; and was only 32-years old at the time of her diagnosis. Born in Liberia, West Africa, she had survived three coup d’etats in her native country. READ MORE
